I went on my first road trip today!

Today I went on my first road trip with Mummy, Daddy, and Grandmum.

We went to Moncton to meet Gampy because Grandmum went home with him today.

I was such a good boy. We were away all day, but I did great. Mummy and Daddy got practice for going away on a longer trip by having to prepare to be away for the day - I need a lot of different things when we leave the house for that long! I'm sad Grandmum had to go home today, but Mummy told me that we are going to PEI in 2 weeks, so I'll get to see her and everyone else in PEI then. I can't wait!! Mummy isn't sure where everything is going to fit in the truck, but Daddy says he'll find a way.

We had an exciting day today!

Grandmum and I spent lots of time together, she has to go home to PEI tomorrow and I'm going to miss her so much.

We had such an exciting day today. Daddy had to work today but the nurse managers had a "man" shower for him and gave me all kinds of goodies and diapers. Then Daddy, Mummy and Grandmum took me to the Oromocto Hospital to meet all of Daddy's co-workers. It was a lot of fun. I was such a good boy.

I'm 2 weeks old today!

Today I'm 2 weeks old! Mummy and Daddy can't believe it has been 2 weeks since I was born. I had my 2 week check up yesterday at the hospital and I am back up to 9lbs, 12ozs and I am 22" long - I grew 2 whole inches!!!

Today I'm 12 days old!

Today Mummy and Grandmum took me to the mall. I was such a good boy. We even saw Dr. Mullally there! She thought I was very handsome. Mummy bought me a bathing suit for the pool and a Toy Story towel. I soon will be able to go for a swim with Mummy and Daddy in the pool.

I love baths!

I just got out of the bathtub and into new clothes in this picture. I don't know where I get my love of water from. Mummy and daddy do not love water the way I do, but they do swim now and again. I will probably love our pool when it is up and running. I don't cry or complain when in the bath, Mummy just cannot believe it!

9 days old!

I'm 9 days old today! Mummy and Daddy took me to Boston Pizza for supper. I was so good. All the waitresses were cooing over me and thought that I was very handsome. Mummy took these pictures of me snuggling with Daddy. I like to curl up into a little ball and snuggle.

We went on another outing today!

Mummy took pictures of me waking up today. She thinks that I'm so funny when I stretch. I just stretch and stretch! Although it looks like I'm crying, I'm not... I'm just stretching!

Mummy and Daddy took me to visit the nurses at the hospital today. They told me that I was perfect and so handsome!

This picture is of me in my car seat that Grandmum and Gampy bought me. I fall asleep almost instantly in it when it goes in the truck.

Thursday was a busy day!!!

Thursday was a really busy day! I celebrated my one-week birthday, Mummy and Daddy cannot believe that it has already been a week since I was born! Grandmum also went home, I didn't want her to leave but Mummy told me she will be back on Monday with Gampy, so I'll be okay for a couple of days. After Grandmum left, Mummy and Daddy took me to get groceries for the first time. I was as good as gold. I love going for drives in the truck and I got to look at lots of new things when I was in the grocery store.

I had a great sleep last night. Just long enough to give mum a good break and let her catch up on her sleep. Grandmum has been taking great care of us all and helped mum give me my 1st real bath. I've been having sponge baths up until this time, but I absolutely loved having a real bath - I didn't cry once. Hope all is well, Lochlan.

I had a great trip to Toys R Us yesterday

I just wanted everyone to know about this great toy store. If anyone gets a chance to visit, you will love the store as there is anything you could ever want there! Hope everyone has loved ones like I do. THEY BUY ME ANYTHING I WANT!!! Mummy, Daddy and Grandmum all helped find the things that I needed. Mummy can't believe how many things a little boy like me actually needs. Mummy and Daddy thought that I was going to be wearing my larger clothes, but they are too big on me, so they had to buy me some 0-3 month sleepers to keep me comfy and warm.

The brown Tigger outfit is one that Grandmum bought me in Florida and Daddy bought me the other Tigger outfit. I think I'm going to love Tigger! The brown outfit is the one that I wore to see the nurses for my next day check up at the hospital. I am back up to 9lbs and 1oz!

I am home now and feeling great. Today has been a long day, but it was nice to see my grandpa (Jimpy), uncle Calum, and Pat (Mimi). I hope everyone sleeps better tonight as I am drinking really well. Going about 3 hours between feedings.

I hope to get out of the house tomorrow and explore this new wonderful world.

Hope Alexie can soothe me like this all the time.

Here is my first pic with my cousin Alexie, she really knows how to calm me down as I was wailing about 30 seconds prior to this picture. I hope she is around for a long time to come (anytime I need a babysitter right!). We make a great pair.

I hope I go home today!

My family doctor has been to see me today. I look perfectly healthy and should be discharged as long as my mum is allowed to go home. Daddy has the car seat ready and is packing all my cute clothes. I will have to come back tomorrow to see the breast-feeding specialist but they know I am doing great already. My weight is down to 8 pounds, but that was to be expected and I know I will be growing again very soon.

I'm two days old!

This is my Gampy, he is very proud of me. Gampy was here when I was born but had to go back to PEI; however, he came back to see me again today and brought over my Great Grammie Wilson to meet me.


Lochlan had a rough night last night. Doctor McKay thought he was tongue-tied, so he really takes after his Daddy. The paediatrician was in this morning and agreed, so he had the procedure this morning to correct it. He did not even cry!!! He remains very content during the day, not so much at night, but we are hoping that gets better now that his tongue works the way it was designed. Lochlan's first girlfriend?

This is Lochlan's first friend. Beth Henderson's daughter, Sydney (2 weeks old). They are approximately the same weight now.

Lochlan's first day

Auntie Tina, Uncle George, Cousin Alexie and Justin have all been to the hospital to visit me. Uncle George was waiting for me at the hospital when I was born.

Mummy had a c-section to have me so she is still a little sore today but she is so happy that I am here safe and sound. Mummy and Daddy have been waiting 7 years for me, so they call me their "miracle." I'm pretty special.

Great Grammie Bernard came to see me again today, she is staying at my house for a few days until Gampy comes and picks her up to take her back to PEI.
