Great Grammie is here to visit me!

Great Grammie Bernard has been here in Fredericton visiting us since last Thursday. She is staying until this Saturday. We will miss her when she leaves. Yesterday, Great Grammie, Mummy and I went and explored downtown Fredericton.

On Sunday, June 2oth Mummy, Daddy, Great Grammie and I went to Presque Isle. It was my first trip out of Canada! The man at the border was really nice to me and told Daddy to have a great 1st Father's Day! Mummy hopes that all trips across will be as easy. I think Daddy had a great first Father's Day!

Trip to Harvey High

Today Mummy and Daddy took me out to Harvey to meet all the rest of Mummy's coworkers and her students. The kids were so excited to see me. I was a really good boy, I slept most of the time! Julia and Cindy got to hold me when I woke up. Penny tried to wake me by being really loud, but I didn't wake up until after she left. Mummy forgot to take her camera, so we don't have any pictures to remember the occasion.

I went in my new swing from Jessica today and I really liked it. Mummy took lots of picture of me in it, here are a few.

My first trip to PEI!

Mummy, Daddy and I took a trip to PEI on Friday. It was the first time that I was there.

We were very busy because Auntie Lisa hosted a friend shower for Mummy and I, and Great Grammie Bernard hosted a family shower for us.

The quilt was given to me by Mummy's coworkers at Harvey High School! It is really nice and matches the theme of my nursery because it is "JUNGLE."

Today Mummy and Daddy did my foot & hand imprints for my baby book and scrapbook. It was an interesting experience... feet - easy; hand - not so much!

Something else really exciting happened today... my Social Insurance Card came in the mail. So now I have my birth certificate and my social insurance card!

Daddy put me in the laundry basket with all the clean clothes and I fell asleep (only for a couple of minutes, but it was really comfortable).

I had my first baby shower today!

Auntie Tina hosted a baby shower for me and had all of the ladies from Mummy's work there, plus Carole and Evelyn. I was an amazing boy and didn't fuss at all. They gave me some beautiful presents - I'm a very lucky boy! Auntie Tina even made me a diaper cake, which was really cool!

Thursday

Yesterday afternoon Auntie Lori & cousin Tyson came to visit me. Tyson got to hold me and was very proud!

Yesterday was my 3 week birthday!!!

Yesterday was my 3 week birthday and I had a great day! Last night my Great, Great Aunt Ivy and Uncle Wilf came from Crystal Beach, Ontario to meet me!! Aunt Ivy is Great Grampie Wilson's sister. Mummy, Daddy and I had a great visit with them.

It has been a busy week!

Sorry we haven't written in a few days, it has been a busy week. Today I had my 3 week check up at the doctor's office with Dr. MacKay. I did really well, I'm 10 lbs 1.5 ozs now. I'm getting bigger every day. I am having a growth spurt so I'm eating more often (every 2 hours, except at night) but when my belly is full, I'm a very happy boy.
