Cereal

Mummy has been giving me a liquified cereal in my bottle mixed with breast milk because she previously tried giving it to me on a spoon but I really wasn't sure what to do with it once it was in my mouth. However, today I ate it from a spoon and really liked it a lot. I figured out what to do with it and ate all that Mummy had for me! Of course Mummy took pictures of me eating!

Hopewell Rocks

Yesterday, Mummy, Daddy, Uncle George, Auntie Tina, and all the Chinese boys and their families went to Hopewell Rocks. We walked to see the rocks and I walked with Daddy on the Ocean floor and touched the water before the tide came in fully. We had a BBQ picnic there and then went to Broadleaf farm and everyone but Mummy and I went horseback riding. After that we went to the Chocolate River Factory where they make chocolate, maple syrup and soap.

We all had a great time. We were on the road for about 15 hours and I was a fantastic boy!

Mid-Autumn Moon

In China they celebrate the mid-autumn moon with a festival, so we had an outdoor gathering at Auntie Tina & Uncle George's cottage and celebrated mid-autumn moon with our exchange student, George, and the 4 other boys that are here from China.

Our new Chinese student "George"

On Saturday our new Chinese exchange student arrived. His name is George. He is very nice and his English is VERY good! George is Mummy and Daddy's fifth exchange student and my first! George will be living with us until the end of January. We'll be doing lots of fun things together, like going to "Boo in the Woods," "Treego," and to Quebec City after Christmas.

Lochlan's 1st Football Game & Kenzie's 11th Birthday

Today I went to my first football game and watched Mackenzie play. He is really good and his team is awesome (4-0 for the season so far) and they won 14-0 tonight! It is also Kenzie's 11th birthday and Kenzie wanted us to go for supper with them to celebrate. We had a great evening!

My first UNB soccer game!

September 19th I went to my first UNB soccer game! It was a lot of fun. Uncle George, Auntie Tina, Alexie, Jordan, Auntie Lori, Taylor, Tyson, Mummy, Daddy & George were all there!

September 15-17th, 2010

Grandmum came from PEI to visit us for a couple of days. We had lots of fun and Grandmum saw how big I am getting. On the 16th I had my 4 month needles, they went much better than the last time and I wasn't in as much pain afterwards. I am now 16lbs, 6 1/4 ozs and 27" long.

On Friday, September 17th Penny and Matt came to visit us and get some practice at parenting. I found out that I'm not only going to get one new playmate, but I'm going to get two! Mummy and Daddy are excited for Penny and Matt to have their twins in April.

Uncle George also came for a visit on September 17th and had supper with us.

September 13th, 2010

September 13th I had my 4 month birthday. Mummy and Daddy cannot believe that I am already 4 months old. I love to play in my exersaucer, on my play mat, and sit in my swing.

I am starting to try to pull myself up and am rolling from front to back and back to front.

On the 13th I also had to visit the doctor because I had a cold, the doctor said I'd be okay but I wouldn't feel great for 3-5 days.

Watching Daddy play basketball

It is a beautiful evening outside, so I went out and sat in my chair and watched Daddy play basketball. He is so funny, he makes me laugh!

I rolled over!

Yesterday, September 8th I rolled over! Mummy and Daddy were so proud of me. I started out on my belly and rolled to my back the first time, but now I can even roll from my back to my belly!

It has been a busy week!

Auntie Emily, Uncle Craig & Aiden came to visit on Friday and stayed until Monday. We did lots of shopping with Auntie Emily. Daddy and Uncle Craig went to the car races and played golf. I got to play with Aiden and had lots of fun!

Mummy and Daddy also set up my own play area in the living room and I love it! I get to play in my exersaucer, on my baby Einstein mat, in the playpen and swing in my swing. I also love watching cartoons. It amazes Mummy and Daddy how focused on the TV I can become. I love the bright colors and I especially love the Toy Story movies.

My first hockey game!

On Friday, September 3rd I went to my very first hockey game! It was at Willie O'Ree and it was the Moncton Wildcats vs. Lewiston Maniacs. Mummy & Daddy were so excited to take me to my first hockey game outside of Mummy's belly! I was such a good boy.

Holy it is hot!

Today it was 34 degrees and felt like 41 with the humidity. Mummy and I stayed in the house most of the day (with the AC) because it was just too hot to go outside. However, this evening Mummy, Daddy and I went in the pool. This was the first time that I actually got to play in the pool, the other times I've just put my toes in. I had so much fun! The pictures posted are of Daddy and I after we got out of the pool and ready for bed. I was exhausted, I had so much fun!

My High Chair

This is me in my high chair for the first time on August 30th! Great Grammie Bernard gave it to me. Even though I am not eating anything but milk yet, I like to sit in the high chair and play when Mummy and Daddy have supper.

I love my Exersaucer!

Mummy's friend, Sara, gave me an exersaucer and I finally got to go in it this week.

I'm such a big boy! I really love playing in it. At first I didn't really know what to do, but now I can play with the toys and move around in it.
